Sophia Stein

Hi everyone! I’m Sophia and this will be my 9th year at Rockbrook and first year as a staff member. I will be a senior at Occidental College in Los Angeles this upcoming fall. I’m majoring in Media Arts & Culture, which is just a fancy way of saying Film Studies. I’m a person who enjoys doing anything creative, like painting, drawing, photography, and video editing. During my time in college, I have been lucky enough to study in places like South Korea and Prague, and through those experiences, I gained a love for trying new things and embracing unexpected adventures.

As a camper, I always felt like my best, truest self at Rockbrook, and now as a counselor I hope to foster an environment where campers can feel the same. Coming back to Rockbrook after 6 years away, I am looking forward to feeling that camp magic again! I can’t wait to meet everyone and have a summer full of fun in the heart of the wooded mountains!
