Meg Aljian

Meg Aljian

Hi! I’m Meg or Nature Meg around camp. This will be my third year at camp, and I’ve been a counselor for all three! I love our community at Rockbrook. If you’re new to camp, I get how scary it is to go to a new place where you know no one. I’ve done it a lot: I grew up in London and moved to North Carolina when I was fourteen (which was really hard), and then I didn’t know anyone at Rockbrook when I first came here. Rockbrook is incredible about welcoming new faces, making sure everyone finds something they love, and turning camp into a home in the woods. It’s part of why I keep coming back!

I am so excited to wake up to the sounds of the streams that run through camp and spend the days exploring the woods and swimming in the lake. I can’t wait for our adventures to sliding rock and Dolly’s (best icecream ever, the Keystone Sunrise is my favorite, and I totally recommend it if you like mint), singing in the dining hall, and being back in cabin life!
