Luca Johnel

Hi! I am Luca Johnel (22) from Cologne, Germany and this will be my very first time at Rockbrook… well actually it will be my first time traveling to the United States at all. I’m currently studying Social Work at the Technical University of Cologne, and twice a week I get to work in a shelter for people experiencing homelessness. I love spending time with my friends in the park, going for walks, playing board games or volleyball.
When I was younger, I spent my summers at equestrian camps. I absolutely loved those times, and I really hope I can help to make your summer at Camp the best time ever! But to be honest, based on who I’ve already talked to (like Laura and some of the other international staff) and all the absolutely amazing activities at camp, there’s no doubt that this summer is going to be incredibly fun and even more exciting than anything I’ve ever been a part of.
